It offers a wide variety of tone and volume settings, including options for Single Tone, Two Tone, Five Tone, and Fifty Tone. You can adjust the point at which ferrous tones (iron-based metals) transition to non-ferrous tones, as well as control the volume of the ferrous tones. The EQUINOX 600 also includes three different Detect Speed levels to optimize performance.

Both the EQUINOX 600 and 800 models are configured similarly, delivering the same performance when used under identical conditions. While the EQUINOX 600 supports single frequencies of 5 kHz, 10 kHz, and 15 kHz, it fully utilizes the multi-frequency capabilities provided by the Multi-IQ processing, just like the EQUINOX 800. This multi-frequency function ensures the same optimal signal response in Park, Field, and Beach Detect Modes for both models.
