Gold Mode is specifically designed to enhance performance on small gold nuggets in mineralized ground. It achieves this by using unique audio processing, where both the volume and pitch respond to targets. While Gold Mode is mainly beneficial for gold prospectors, the Multi-IQ technology in Park 2 and Field 2 modes can be just as effective—if not better—at finding gold nuggets than many dedicated single-frequency gold detectors. Both EQUINOX 600 and 800 models come with Automatic Noise Cancel, but the 800 offers a Manual override.
